When I downloaded the speed traps file, and tried to load it into my Garmin Nuvi 360 using the POI loader, I get the error message:

 

"There is a data format error on line 14 of the file SpeedTraps_4_21_2008.csv.  The data earlier in the file will be written, but no more data can be read from this file."

I've tried copying and editing the file to remove the offending row(s), but the problem persists 

 

Please redownload the file. I have made some changes to the format that should fix the issue.

Trying with the new file, I get the same error:

I'm using the  lastest Garmin POI Loader, just downloaded from the URL provided, namely

http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-12

which is version 2.5.2, as of Mar 28, 2008.

 

Incidentally, I'm using a Garmin Nuvi 370, with up-to-date software, version 4.40 (from Garmin, dated Dec 18, 2007). 

 I have udpated the format again, Please insure that all previous files have been removed before uploading to your Garmin.

 I just downloaded the updated files. Theyl oaded without any errors this time. Thanks rainmanjam.

with Shannon's telephone support, I was able today to successfully download 4/21 version to my Garmin c340. it took some 8500 data points. thanks a lot! great support!
