According to our friends at Wrecked Exotics , this Ferrari 599 "tried to take a curve too fast late at night. Bounced off the guardrails until car was a total loss." Except for that glorious engine — which looks to us like it's just about ready for a late-night transplant into a LeMons car. Anyone want to try and take a shot at what you'd drop it between the rails of? [ Wrecked Exotics ]

Word from Greece is there's another Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano on the scrap heap. The owner, hailing from Athens, put a little too much pep into his early morning drive and overcooked a curve. The silver lining here is what one could do with that intact powertrain: Ferrari-powered sand rail? One hell of a shifter kart? galleryPost('wrecked599', 3, 'Wrecked 599 GTB'); Perhaps we should expand the spectrum of our Save the Enzos campaign to include all exclusive exotics, what with all the news of totaled Maseratis , Porsche Gemballa Mirage GTs and Godzillas . A couple of knuckleheads in the Australian town of Walkerville managed to wrap the front third of a Ferrari 360 Modena quite effectively around a telephone pole and walk away with only minor injuries. Eyewitnesses report the car was speeding around the local roads (surprise!) and as you can see, the eventual accident was pretty incredible, with the pole intruding to the point where it takes the space normally occupied by, say, the shifter over the transmission tunnel. With yesterday's Lamborghini Gallardo sliced in half width-wise and now a Ferrari split down the middle, it's like learning automotive biology by supercar dissection around here. ( Hat tip to half our readers for sending this in! ) galleryPost('ausferrariwreck', 6, 'Just Split It Down The Middle'); [ News.com.au ]

Canton Center Road lies in the sleepy little Detroit suburb of Canton, and, aside from people wrecking brand new Ferrari F430 's outside of the Post Office, not much happens there. If you've never been to the little berg, the scene of this crash isn't surrounded by any curves, hills, trees, blocked views...or anything, really — just a couple of posts protecting a fire hydrant. Apparently that was enough of a target for this 430's driver after tangling with a Nissan Sentra, of all things. Must have been delivering express mail. galleryPost('f430canton', 3, 'Wrecked Ferrari F430'); [ WreckedExotics ]

Oh look, another Ferrari crash. Maybe we should have run this Monday when we were having our Maximum Ferrari Crash Morning but now that we look at it, maybe the owner of this 360 Modena just wanted to take it for a little swim. Or maybe he just couldn't find a car wash open late enough. [ Autogespot ]

Continuing our Monday morning Ferrari smash-up meme , check out this Ferrari 575M spotted in L.A. looking like it was taken for a Ferris Bueller-style valet joyride. Unlike the mileage run-up in the movie, this 575M seems to have come back in a noticeably more Cameron Frye-like state of wellness. We'd hoped that Audi A8 from Brooklyn was a mere isolated instance of parking valet hoonage, but perhaps this incident demonstrates it can happen no matter the 'merican coast. Oh, and by the way, although we've got absolutely no proof parking attendants were the cause of this catastrophic waste of good Italian metal, we've also got absolutely no proof they weren't the cause. Take that, journalistic standards! [ Hat tip to Anthony! ]

Japan's Shizuoka province has a brand new way to spider your Ferrari F355. Leave your Sawzall at home, folks. Instead, slide it sideways under a highway restraining barrier. Just don't forget to duck. Seriously — how did the driver and passenger escape this wreck with their heads, shoulders, knees and toes all still attached? ( Hat tip to Mark and Rahat! ) [ JapanToday ]

newVideoPlayer("berlinettacrash_jalopnik.flv", 475, 376,"");We at Jalopnik have sort of become connoisseurs of the Ferrari crash. And while the Eddie Griffith Enzo Crash may be considered an enjoyable appetizer and the the original Ferrari Enzo crash the piece d'resistance , this video of a dumbass in an F355 is merely a refreshing Apéritif . You can do burnouts? Cool, so could my old Taurus. (Moderately NSFW Language) [Source: YouTube ]
