Detroit Auto Show : Besides the X6 WTF SAV, BMW has a very expensive 1-series convertible to sell you. $34,000 may not get you the twin-turbo I-6, but you can bathe your newborn in the backseat.

Say guten tag to BMW's latest cabrio. It's the droptop version of the 1-Series that debuted earlier this year. We've already seen the press shots , back in October. But after all those months, BMWs come up with a suitable US base price of $34,000 to start. That's for the 128i; no word on the 135i convertible, which is expected in Fall 08. In other news, the back seat is the size of an infant's bathtub. galleryPost('bmw1seriesexterior', 6, 'BMW 1-Series Exterior Live Shots'); galleryPost('bmw1seriesinterior', 5, 'BMW 1-Series Interior Live Shots');

AutoSpies.com has lived up to their name this evening and they've got pics of a heretofore unknown Lexus convertible concept posted up. After huddling up for a minute, the best minds Jalopnik have to offer must admit that we have nothing on this car. Is it the production version of the LF-A Convertible we saw at pebble beach, the LF-C? Is it a one off superlux concept? We don't know, but stay tuned for more as we dig into this story. At the very least, we'll be bringing it to you live as soon as is humanly possible.
