newVideoPlayer("AlfaSpiderGeneva_Jalopnik.flv", 463, 387,""); Ok, we can't get enough of the Alfa 8C Spider . It's just too beautiful. So why stop at the mere pictures from yesterday? Let's add us some official video of the unveil for you to sink your teeth into. No, the car doesn't move. No, you can't hear the sonorous V8. No, we don't understand what that guy is saying. But do we care? No. We just want to stare at it. Forever. We think we hear it in a dark expo center in Geneva as it cries out to us "I love you!" Or that may have just been us. galleryPost('alfa8cgenevavid', 3, 'On The Show Floor');galleryPost('alfa8cspiderproductionwhite', 3, 'In Our Dreams');

newVideoPlayer("fiataria_jalopnik.flv", 463, 387,""); When one thinks of great Italian directors, artists like Rosselini, de Sica and Fellini immediately come to mind. To this list we must add the cinematic genius behind this subtle yet humorous take on the auto show. It combines the camera work of the neorealists with the carefully constructed mise en scene of the magical realists. At the surface, it's just an unnecessary closeup of someone from Fiat explaining the new Fiat Panda Aria . Delve deeper and you'll see the models unable to stay still, representing the ennui and discomfort of the public, shielded by the talking head. The best moment, though, is reserved for the end. The director chooses to pan away, for no discernible reason, in the middle of this guy talking. Benissimo! galleryPost('fiatpandaaria', 4, 'How Existential'); [Source: FIAT]

newVideoPlayer("AudiR8TDI_Jalopnik.flv", 463, 387,""); We can't get enough of this Audi R8 V12 TDI Le Mans Concept . OK, so its not quite on the track or in showrooms just yet. And yes, it's an awfully brilliant "Brilliant Red" paint job on this oil-burning torque monster . However we imagine that when it does hit the streets with all that ground-pounding torque , the world might just spin backwards. Maybe that's why it's just sitting still for now. The globe needs time to brace itself for the impact. So much for diesels being Earth-friendly.

newVideoPlayer("TataMotorsGeneva_Jalop.flv", 463, 387,""); " Technology, the new life-force. " That's what Tata Motors says. We had no idea. We kinda miss the old life-force -- you know -- life? Whatever. One thing this video played this morning at the Nano reveal can give you, is a feel for just how important the automaker from India sees themselves. But who can blame them, what with all the magazine cover stories and the comparisons of the Tata Nano to the Ford Model T. Of course, the Model T was a replacement for horses, while the Nano is a replacement for the iPod Mini toy cars scooters . We're not sure if we'd actually want to own one, but from a product standpoint, it's hard not to admire the little $2500 wonder.

newVideoPlayer("FordFiesta1_Jalopnik.flv", 463, 387,""); If you didn't get enough of the Ford Fiesta 3-door , we've got some video that explores some more angles of the new global hatch. As with many first-release videos, the camera is doing all of the movement. Zoom in, Zoom out. Zoom in, Zoom out. Also, the first part of the video seems to indicate the Fiesta might be from space. Though we've got scores of photos (see below), this clip does give a better idea of the rear proportions of the car. galleryPost('FordFiesta3Door', 6, 'Ford Fiesta Thee Door Party'); [ Motorpasion ]
