With an LS9 supercharged V8 said to make 567 HP , we know that the Cadillac CTS-V is one swift sedan. But we had no idea just how fast it would be until it recently set a lap time of 7:59.32 on the Nurburgring Nordschleife. That time makes it the fastest production sedan ever officially recorded on the German benchmark race track. The longest-running show to not jump the shark showed exactly why it hasn't. Homer's old beater-mobile got one too many dings rear-ending the back of a Pacer look-alike (with what we're assuming can only be an aftermarket airbag) and needed some time in the ol' repair shop. Homer finds himself behind the wheel of a loan-er brand-agnostic luxe-mobile with a remarkable similarity to the new Cadillac CTS. The inside jokes run freely throughout the episode's side storyline, and include what may be the funniest car-related Simpsons line since the Canyonero commercial song. To wit: "I never dreamed an American car designed in Germany assembled in Mexico with parts made in Canada could be so amazing!" We couldn't believe it either, which is why we included the clip above...

Apparently, when the Grey's Anatomy star's done being turned on by her new CTS , she enjoys a steak and chocolate while she reads gossip mags dressed only in Italian shoes in clubs for men only. Hmm, sounds like the type of gals we met at a bachelor party for a buddy of mine. Except we had to pay money for them. But whatever, we're just happy there weren't any dragons involved.

Which is why they've got Grey's Anatomy star Kate Walsh speaking to us in her sultry voice, telling us the real question she asks when she gets into a car -- "When you turn your car on, does it return the favor?" Our question we ask when hearing that particular question is "Which box do we check to get that particular vehicular option?"
