Oh yeah, sorry — in all that Transformers Corvette concept and Z28 hubub, we forgot to show you these camera phone shots taken by a forum fan-boy over at Camaro5 of what's purportedly yet another shot of a pre-production 2010 Chevy Camaro SS. Jeez, all these Camaros with their bow ties — they all look alike. Wait a second — a bow tie? This isn't a pre-production car — it's a production car ! The shooter supposedly caught it on the set of a TV show with Christian Slater. No idea what that's all about. But check out that picture below of the "SS" from the back — are those air holes for a shunt in the rear bumper? Is that a clear brakelight in the rear window? Nice. Seriously, how much do we love the guys over at Camaro5 ? [via Camaro5 ]

Here we go again — first it was the 2010 Chevy Camaro coupe getting the official "leak" by Bob Lutz and Ed Peper, now they've gone and slipped out pictures of the drop-top. There's one shot of the 2010 Chevy Camaro Convertible up above and one more over at GM's little blog project via the link below. [via GM FastLane ]

You may have been thinking General Motors has timed their muscle car revival all wrong, what with the 2010 Chevy Camaro coming out just as gas hits $51 per gallon. But see that's just what they want — to make driving this car an indulgence. And why wouldn't it be? Especially as it now appears that although the V8-engined 2010 Camaro SS may be getting all the attention, the V6 is going to pack quite a punch as well. These new shots from the forum fan-boys looking beyond the F-body at Camaro5 give us the clearest look yet under the hood of the six-cylinder model. But this does not appear to be your grandpa's engine. galleryPost('CamaroV6underhood', 3, 'What Is This V8 You Speak Of?'); Look closely at the throttle-body size and shape and the bolts holding it on, the three fluid reservoirs in the same locations, all cues that this is indeed the glorious direct-injection V6. That means about 300 HP, the same sort of power Ford gets from the V8 Mustang GT. And...

OK, you thought those purported press photos of the new Camaro convertible for 2011 were wild? Check these out. These shots, again from the always-willing-to-market-themselves folks at Camaro5 , appear to be of the new Chevy Camaro we saw teased in that GM accessory video yesterday afternoon — body kit, ground effects and all. While we're still not sure of the veracity of these shots — especially the photo of the Camaro from behind with the chrome on the wheels all a-gleamin' — they look somewhat credible. Now as to whether or not they look good? That's up to you, the commentariat. So — what say you? Is it real or is it Adobe-rex? galleryPost('2010ChevyCamaroKitSpy', 5, 'Body Kit Says What?'); [via Camaro5 ]

So what do we think folks? Does the Chevy fan-boy site Camaro5 have the first production press photos of the 2010 (or maybe 2011) Chevy Camaro convertible? The shots look — well — have a look yourself. There's just something not right about them and wethinks it isn't just the rakish tilt of the camera. What do you think? galleryPost('2011CamaroVertSpy', 2, 'Chevy Camaro Convertible?'); [via Camaro5 ]
