It's not easy being a stuntman on the set of the new James Bond movie, "Quantum of Solace." If you'll remember, earlier this week we told you about that stunt driver taking Bond's Aston Martin DBS into the drink (and the subsequent video aftermath ) in what's being described as a highly dangerous "delivery-related" stunt. Now they've seen another car accident. Although this time it wasn't the DBS, it was double trouble as two of the men all about stunts were involved. Reportedly, "the accident happened when the car used by two stuntmen rammed into a filming lorry and then into a wall on set near the picturesque Lake Garda in northern Italy..." Pop quiz, hotshot -- you see Keanu Reeves backing his Porsche out of a parking space south of Los Angeles and he hits you with his sports car... do you sue? If you're a member of the paparazzi, the answer is probably yes. Alison Silva is suing Reeves, claiming he suffered shock and serious injuries when the car "grazed" him. An attorney for Reeves claimed that Silva was blocking the Porsche's way and if he'd been hit it wasn't hard enough to injure Bea Arthur. That being said, Reeves and Jennifer Connelly are slated to do a remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still , so he gets a pass. [ AP ]

A couple of days ago a special effects technician working on the new Batman movie, Batman: The Dark Knight was killed when the camera truck he was in crashed into a tree while on a stunt test run following the Batmobile . We're assuming by "Batmobile" they mean the " Tumbler " based upon the quote from a spokesman calling the vehicle being followed a "4x4." Warner Brothers says the accident happened off-set and there was no filming taking place. I bet Monday was one of those days where Christian Bale wished he really was a superhero who could save a man's life by wrapping him up with a batarang and snag him before he hit the tree -- or maybe he just wishes the guy driving hadn't hit the tree.
