Saturn has gone and made its Vue Hybrid even more hybrid-tastic. Now equipped with GM's advanced two-mode hybrid technology, the new 2009 Saturn Vue Green Line 2 Mode Hybrid promises a fifty percent increase in fuel mileage over the standard V6 model. All of that efficiency comes from a 3.6L V6 equipped with VVT and direct injection and not one, but two 55 kW electric motors integrated into the transmission. Those motors provide assist at different vehicle speeds in order to minimize fuel consumption. Pretty clever, eh? Our only problem with this whole thing is the page long name. We'll be digging around in the new Saturn starting Sunday and you can follow at our Detroit Auto Show tag page. We already knew the 2007 Buick Riviera Concept would be here for the Detroit Auto Show, but the China born concept made it's US debut here last night. Originally unveiled at Auto Shanghai 2007, the Buick Riviera Concept was shown off to press by Ed Welburn and the gang at the Max M. Fisher Theater ahead of the show. We were hoping for a green light for US production from Mr. Welburn, but nothing like that was mentioned. Oh well, we can dream can't we? Anyway, there's a press release after the jump and we'll have some fine photos of this Chinese carry out and lots of other show coverage you can follow at our Detroit Auto Show tag page. If you're more net savvy, hit up the RSS feed for your fave feed reader -- or just keep madly hitting refresh on our main page -- whatever works best for you. galleryPost('rivieradetroit', 9, '2007 Buick Riviera Concept in Detroit'); DETROIT - The Buick Riviera, a stunning concept car designed to showcase Buick's new...

We brought you leaked shots of the Saab 9-4X this morning , but now high-res shots are out for all to see. The smallish SUV with a biofuel heart sure does trump the current offerings from the automaker formerly known as Swedish for quirky. Among the interesting features we can see are a slide out ski rack, two sets of captains chairs, and what looks like a glass covered center stack - tres chic. galleryPost('saabbiopower', 8, 'Saab BioPower Concept in High Resolution');

Although you'll be able to see it for yourself if you're in town for the Detroit Auto Show next month (or watch the coverage live here on Jalopnik!), you still won't be able to see the new 2009 Chevy Corvette ZR1 the way we're showing it to you right now. If you'll remember, we were the first to show you the unofficial shots of the new 2009 Chevy Corvette ZR1's beautiful 620+ HP LS9 engine . Next we brought you the in-cockpit camera footage of the ZR1 taking a lap at Laguna . Then we had the opportunity to show off all of the pictures and details on the new up-powered Corvette ZR1 . Now we're going to go a little bit more in-depth, showing off all the little bits n' pieces of the supercharged small-block V8 engine under the hood of Zee-Really fast One. Above, you'll find the LS9 completely exploded and below, you'll find all the little bits n' pieces in the detail you know you need. Specific press release on the LS9 below the jump. galleryPost...

The boys over at the blog that likes to spend more time Kicking Tires than not reminded us of a little Zeta-platformed concept designed jointly by GM and SAIC that we'd totally forgotten we hadn't yet seen in person, but we need to be looking for at the Detroit Auto Show next month. It's quite possibly the most amazing Buick concept car we've ever seen -- the Chinese Buick Riviera concept car. The Riviera concept made its initial debut at the Shanghai Auto Show last year, and now it'll be coming to make it's North American debut at none other than the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS -- it's the fancy name for the Detroit Auto Show). Basically, it'll be the first time we've seen a Buick sedan we'd actually want to buy. Well, at least since the GNX anyway. galleryPost('BuickRivieraPR', 9, 'Made For China - The Buick Riviera Concept Car');[ Kicking Tires via AutoBlog ]

This is it. Thanks to an anonymous tipster we have what appear to be the very first and clearest shots yet procured of the 2009 LS9 6.2-liter V8 engine powering the 2009 Corvette ZR1 -- something we weren't expecting to see until the Detroit Auto Show in January. But, since information yearns to be free -- and whoa, nelly, do these shots show off some serious information on what will be the most serious piece of weaponry in the General's quiver come next year -- here they are and here's what we know. Essentially what you're looking at is what appears to be a standard twin-screw-type supercharger mounted below a highly efficient air-to-water intercooler system. Now, we can't speculate if it's tied into the engine system or if it has an independent radiator system -- but we feel pretty confident all of this is a one-off, which means the General's running the show on every single horsepower above and beyond the stock horse output from the 6.2-liter V8 it all sits...

Chevrolet 's reputed 650-horsepower 2009 Corvette 's been called by enthusiasts the " Blue Devil ," the " Super Sport ," the " Mako Shark ," the " Z07 " and all sorts of other monikers -- but according to Todd Lassa, Motor Trend 's Motor City Blogman...
