If you're looking for a fast Italian machine from the 60s, you've got your Ferraris and Maseratis and such, and even your Intermeccanicas . Don't stop with those cars, though, because Ghia didn't just do coachwork for other manufacturers- they made a few cars themselves! This '66 450SS , once owned by Wilt Chamberlain, has had its original Chrysler 273 V8 replaced with a Chevy 350; that seems sacrilegious (though it was done by Boyd Coddington), but it's still a fast, beautiful car. The auction ends today, and we're curious to see how high the bids will get. [eBay Motors] galleryPost('66Ghia450SSeBay', 3, '1966 Ghia 450SS');

We can just hear the conversation that took place prior to shooting these photos: "Look, just sit on the hood and look sexy- this thing's as good as sold, baby! We'll be able to buy something that runs every day!" "But... the hood is all icky! And why is there smoke pouring out from under the dash?" Doing the pinup thing in a desert setting, maybe throw a little sepia on some of the shots- hey, the car is getting bids, so there's no arguing with success! Some of the shots may be mildly NSFW (if you work in an extremely prudish office). [eBay Motors] galleryPost('PinupMorrisMinor', 9, '1960 Morris Minor 1000 For Sale');

We love weird South American versions of North American cars, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a car with a more complicated family tree than the Renault Torino. Conceived as the result of AMC-Renault cooperation, based on the '65 Rambler American Rogue, with body redesign by Pininfarina and power by Kaiser, the Torino was built in Argentina until 1982. We really, really want one to use for Official Jalopnik Business... and now there's this '72 for sale on eBay! Make the jump for a vastly expanded gallery. Back when John Z. De Lorean was coming up with cars like the GTO for the Pontiac Division, he also had this crazy idea for a "Mustang killer" that would be cheaper and lighter than a Corvette. Unfortunately, the Banshee was also faster than the Corvette, so the General's overlords- still pissed about the way John Z. sneaked the GTO out the door- axed it (though much of its styling lived on in later Corvettes and Firebirds). Only two roadworthy prototypes were built, a convertible and a coupe... and now that coupe can be yours! Just pony up the Buy It Now of a mere $1,500,000 and you'll own the Coolest Pontiac Ever.
