If Classic BMW of Plano, Texas endeavored to build the most optioned BMW 135i ever, we think they were successful with this tii lookalike . We were only able to up-option a 1-series to $52,550 but the clever mechanics at Classic are just better at this than we are. Starting with an already loaded 1-series with an MSRP of $42,900, the Texas tinkerers successfully added $12,372.42 in a "Performance Package" consisting of more carbon fiber and custom paint than we knew existed. It's expensive, but at least it's all covered under warrenty. The car is for sale on eBay so maybe you can snake the price down further away from M3 territory. A description from the dealer of how they made it work below the jump. galleryPost('bmwprojekt1', 3, 'Holy Krap That Is A Lot Of Kash'); galleryPost('bmwprojekt2', 3, 'Krazy Interior'); eBay seller description All installed options are BMW Performance parts - carrying full BMW warranty. Upgraded options as follows...

Remember those shots of the supposed BMW 1-Series tii we showed you late last week? Yeah, sorry boys, it's not a production version of the tii. Instead, it seems it's nothing more than just the German accessory brochure leaking out onto the web just a wee bit early for the wee little Bimmer. But, feel free to peruse the pages of the leaked brochure and dream -- courtesy of our friends at 1addicts -- if that's what you wish. Only caveat -- it's entirely in German. So umm, good luck with that. Or feel free to check out the performance accessorized 1-Series below. [via 1addicts ] galleryPost('bmw1tiimaybe', 9, 'A tii By Any Other Name Is Just A 1-Series');

We have literally no information on this car. It showed up on a 1addicts.com forum this morning, and we've been trying to glean details since then. What we do know is that it's registered in Munich, Germany; it has some very hot non-standard components; and it's made up to look like the BMW 1-Series tii concept we saw unveiled in Tokyo. Aside from that, it's all speculation. Pictures of unknown origin, from a well lit garage in Munich, with a car that looks like the tii, that won't start some pants on fire. The photographer saw fit to include a shot of the differential peeking out of the underbody, but why? Is it an LSD? Maybe. We also can't really figure out what the doodads on the top of the steering wheel are. Shift lights? Really obnoxious turn signal indicators? Mood lighting? Your guess is as good as ours. None of this really matters though because we're pretty sure as soon as the 1-Series aftermarket takes off here, you won't have a problem making...

The tuners of all things BMW and Land Rover have taken on the new BMW 1-series coupe ́ with what they're calling the ACS1 3.5i. AC Schnitzer's tunage is highlighted by -- a "Turbo logo on the front spoiler." OK, they've done much more than that, but that's what the release starts out with so we couldn't just leave it alone. Some of the many enhancements include dropping a full bodykit on the new two-door along with aluminum struts and some enhanced torsional stiffness. For the 1.8d and the 2.0d oil-burning versions of the BMW 1-series, AC Schnitzer offers diesel performance upgrades taking the power up a notch by 30 HP or so. On the petrol side they're even claiming they're getting power up to 360 HP and the top speed from 155 MPH to a touch over 186. Not too shabby for the 2002 wannabe. Full release after the jump. galleryPost('ACSchnitzerACS1', 9, 'AC Schnitzer Takes The Space Odyssey To 2002'); The AC Schnitzer ACS1 3.5i Not only...
