Jim Kelly, who already showed us a pretty nifty AMC dealership in Honolulu, Hawaii, has been out there looking for more old neat Hawaii dealership photos and recently came across these four photos of Aloha Motors, once the Chevrolet and Oldsmobile dealership...

In putting together an upcoming story for Hemmings Classic Car, Karen Johnson of Spencerport, New York, shared something peculiar. Not only did she track down which dealership originally sold her 1959 Rambler Custom sedan, but she also tracked down the owners of the dealership.
The Rambler was actually her father’s, who bought it in 1970, though [...]

Here’s another example, courtesy of Donald Huneke in Ewing Township, New Jersey, outside Trenton. Donald is a dealer for towing and recovery equipment, and sent along an actual 1954 factory catalog for Holmes wreckers, or as [...]

I figured while I was poking around the Los Angeles Public Library’s photo archive, I’d sate another obsession of mine and search for old photos of dealerships and auto factories. Didn’t find nearly as many as I did photos of trucks and cars.
Photographer Dick Whittington snapped the above photo, described as
The Paul G. Hoffman Co. [...]
