The VW Golf series is the next car to capture people’s attention after the classic VW Beetle. The excellent engine and lightweight built of the unit made it a VW car to be considered. In general, the unit is pretty responsive and easy to handle.

If you are looking for a VW Golf to tune and customize, the engine must be your first consideration. The VAG 1.8T would be the best consideration. A well tuned 1.8T could produce up to 300 BHP of power. This engine is powerful enough to speed up a small car like the VW Golf. Getting the right exhaust and induction kit is enough to tweak this engine to its full potential. But if you have an engine like a 1.4 or a 1.6 on your VW Golf, a good air filter would do the trick. But if you are still not satisfied with the 1.8T, then maybe it’s time for you to get a V6 4M or a V6 R32 to power your car.

The newer releases of the VW Golf is heavier than it predecessors. A powerful engine should be enough to carry the weight and produce good speed and acceleration. But if you want to reduce weight, then carbon fiber is the answer to your problem. And for more response, it would be wise to opt for a lowered suspension. Taking 30 mm from your VW Golf suspension should do the trick. Just make sure to install firmer springs so that driving comfort is not diminished.

Additional tuning of the VW Golf could also be done by providing a better differential. To get the most out of the front wheel drive configuration, use a semi locking differential. 18″ or smaller rims on your car could substantially provide better handling. Also, get good quality tires for better traction and safety.

The Toyota Corolla is a classic. Having sold more units than most cars, the Toyota Corolla can comfortably be called one of the most reliable, efficient and economical cars in the market. Reliable, because it has been in production for so long a time; efficient, because it runs normally enough without need for tuning; and economical, because it can be bought for a relatively cheap retail price. However, tuning your Toyota Corolla is something you may want to do, for a change of performance and look. Though not totally necessary, your Toyota Corolla may run at a more efficient pace if you properly put it through Toyota Corolla Tuning.
Usually, 1.3 and 16l engines are what you will usually see in Toyota Corollas. Unfortunately, 1.3 engines have no opportunity for engine upgrades, being in the Toyota Corollas earlier produced by Toyota. 1.6l engines, on the other hand, can be upgraded with a 6 speed gear box. This will increase your engine speed and efficiency to as much as 30%. You have to make sure, though, that it is upgraded by a person with technical expertise in the car tuning.
Another thing you may want to do to make your Corolla more efficient is to replace its tires. Don’t worry; the industrial tires are nice and good. After some time, though, its tire performance may wear out. The moment it does is the moment you ought to buy customized tires, easily bought in most car shops. The brakes of the Toyota Corolla are also okay as it is. But adding sport brake pads may be a good addition to further your brake performance.
As with ECU re-mapping, you must be only very sure as to whether or not you want to do this. This isn’t always the best option, but if you want to see an overwhelming BHP boost in your Corolla, then go ahead.

Since its inception into the market in 1998, Toyota Avensis has shown no signs of failing Toyota. In fact, it has become one of the biggest sellers in the corporation, what with its features that strike a balance between style and substance. Styled as a sedan or a family car, the Toyota Avensis is pretty light for its large body. And it doesn’t go without substance, too. It is actually one of Toyota’s better models, with a speed that other cars can envy upon.
The second generation of Toyota Avensis runs at 124 BHP, with a 6 speed manual gearbox engine. What’s most striking about Toyota Avensis is that despite its relatively impressive performance, it leaves no space for heavy fuel consumption and high carbon emissions. With the good record of Toyota Avensis, tuning it up may be something unimaginable to you. However, good doesn’t always cut it. You want your Avensis to turn from an Average Joe to an outstanding, outperforming car. And wouldn’t it be tempting to have it run 20 to 40% faster and look a lot sleeker? A good Toyota Avensis tuning shall do the trick.
Toyota Avensis models use 1.6 to 2.0 engines. It also has a turboengine variety which, of course, performs faster than the other engines. To boost the performance of your Avensis, you can use custom superchargers or ECU Chips. Look for an upgrade that will boost not only the speed but also solve the somewhat bothering noise your engine emits. Looking for the right one, though, may be bit of a task. Hence, you must look for the safest but most convenient deal there is. Looking for such may not be a hard thing, if you follow closely the best tips and guidelines.
Also, changing the tires and modifying the body kit may do a lot more than pimp your Avensis. The tires, once worn out, will decrease your car’s efficiency and performance. Customized wheel will do the trick. Overhauling your car’s body will also make it a lot lighter, if you replace the body with a lightweight body kit.

Toyota is the recognized leading manufacturer of automobiles all over the world. In this industry, Japan has made itself the leader since it started back in 1937. This long history in automobile has made them the primary mover and shaker in the industry. People from all over the world continue to purchase cars made by Toyota for its performance and innovative changes. To this day, they still make waves with upgrades and aftermarket parts and accessories that make a car like no other.
Toyota Way
Toyota continues to lead the way in terms of new technologies that makes it edge away from competitors. One such innovation is known as hybrid technology which combines gas and electricity to operate your vehicle. Globally, this has translated to no less than 1 million sales for the company. An example of this is the Toyota Prius. The same option was later made available for smaller cars like the Lexus and Camry. Hybrid Synergy Drive systems in cars, SUV’s and trucks of Toyota because of its eco-friendly feature. Another technology known as plug-in hybrid which utilizes lithium-ion battery for lower impacts on the environment compared to other hybrid cars.
Esthetic Changes
Car audio systems installed inside the trunk of cars have become an option a few car owners have done to bring attention to their vehicles. Include some neon lights around speakers and other equipment and you get a flashier and louder car than the one next to you.
More often than not, tuner cars have become the trend such as those seen in Toyota Supra which includes modifications in exhaust systems, turbos and suspension upgrades. This is also known as streeted cars. You can also step in and out of your Toyota car in style with either scissor doors or suicide doors which is made possible with aftermarket kits.

The Volkswagen Polo is basically designed to be a family car. The VW Polo is also compact, economical and driver friendly. And at the same time, the VW Polo is also fun and rewarding to tune-up.
But before you consider tuning a VW Polo, it is prudent to get the right version equipped with the right engine. If you are planning to tweak your VW Polo in the future then the VW Polo Mark4 is your best choice. And don’t be blinded by the cheapness of the 1.0 L engine because it will remain a snail even after expensive modifications. Other engine types are O.K., but a 1.8T would be awesome. But if your budget could not afford a 1.8T, a 1.4 16V is not bad at all.

Like any VW Polo or Golf, your best and most affordable upgrade would be the air filter and exhaust system. The panel filter will work best with the 1.4 or even the 1.8T. This upgrade will do until you get your hands on enough cash to get a more powerful engine. And once you do, get a 1.8T if you originally bought the 1.4, or if you got the 1.8T already, then a VR6 would be the next choice.

There are other problems with the VW Polo that you should take care of through tuning. One is the suspension since the VW Polo is higher than it should be. You could solve this by lowering the strut to about 40 mm than the original. Lowering the suspension will provide better handling and stability of your car. But once you lower the suspension, you should also opt for firmer springs to stabilize the feel of the car. Or better yet, you could get an adjustable suspension if you could afford it.
To fit your lowered VW Polo and to increase handling, it is wise to get 18″ wheels. You could opt for something smaller, but 18″ looks better. Be sure to get good quality tires to go with the wheels. Excellent tires may cost more, but they will prove practical in the future.
