So has Bentley finally gone ahead and built that much-rumoured SUV it has been muttering about for years? No, it hasn't. This thing, this assault on your poor innocent eyes, is - as you might have guessed - a Hummer modified to look like a Bentley . And painted gold. Very gold. Why? We really don't know. Suffice to say it hails from that capital of car couture, Dubai, and that the owner is heavily weighing down one end of the Money-Sense scales. We'll let you decide which end. We mock, but we've a horrible, sneaking suspicion that this might be the next big thing among the Premiership elite. Can't decide between a Bentley and a Hummer ? Have both. Bolt an Aston to the roof and you're there... © Source: topgear We need your comments below >>

(from Bentley Press Release) With typical Bentley understatement the styling of the new Continental Flying Spur is both evolutionary and subtly effective. At the front, the new bright chrome radiator grille, now more vertical, has a more pronounced square edge, accentuating the distinctive Bentley profile. Beneath the grille, the new lower bumper features a wider, bolder central air intake. The black matrix grille also provides a 14 percent increase in airflow for the more powerful Speed version and the charge cooler intakes are positioned on the corners. The lower grilles may also be specified in bright chrome to complement that of the main radiator. Chromed bezels around the headlamps complement the new frontal design. At the rear, the new bumper with black lower valance and wraparound chrome trims make for a more slender appearance that is complemented by new chromed tail lamp bezels. Director of Design, Dirk van Braeckel explains the styling evolution: “The Flying Spur is instantly...

Japanese art has a way for driving itself into anything and turning up as a perfect blend of ethnic style and feel. The Bentley Continental GT has experience the similar thrill of Japanese art in 29 models of theirs that will be available after a touch is given to them. The hoods of these 29 vehicles will bear designs by Nakamura Tetsuei. The cars have a whopping 800 hp oozing out of them, all thanks to the newly added 6.0L W12 engine to them. The Bentley could always do with some extra body mods and this kit looks pretty interesting. I still wonder how many people fall for floral designs on sexy super cars these days. I mean, aren’t we over the seventies yet? The worst part of any investment is paying. Well, if you are investing for a few double takes from people on the road then you can keep the $800,000 ready to blow up on a flowery Bentley . © Source: luxurylaunches We need your comments below >>

While Bentley continues to achieve sales success with its Continental line of cars that includes the GT, Flying Spur, GTC and new GT Speed, the upper-level Arnage line has been left to get by on its old world charm and bespoke everything hand-built construction. We showed you some spy shots of the next-gen Arnage back in April that suggests Bentley may position the next-gen Arnage as a direct competitor to the Rolls-Royce Phantom, and whether that's the case or not, the next Arnage will most certainly continue catering to the wealthiest 1% of the world. A super extra long version of the Arnage was recently spotted by KGP photographers with an extra 18 inches of wheelbase, and while Bentley already offers the LWB Arnage RL model, this particular car eclipses that and then some to firmly land in limousine territory. In other words, it's not a car drive, it's a car in which you're driven. Whether this mule is based on the current model or actually hiding some hardware for the...

Spy photographers have captured the Bentley 's updated Arnage . The next-generation Arnage isn't slated to hit the market until 2010, but Bentley execs reportedly want to create a true competitor to Rolls Royce's offerings and are getting a head start on the project. It is also possible that Bentley could offer its next-generation Arnage T with the Bugatti Veyron's quad-turbocharged W16 engine. Last year, Bentley fitted an Arnage prototype with Bugatti's W16 engine proving how serious they are. When the next-generation Arnage finally hits the market in 2010, look for prices to be in the neighborhood of $400,000 . © Source: carversation We need your comments below >>

It's hard to go wrong these days if you're willing to spend well in excess of $100,000 on a luxury sedan. Take cars like the Rolls-Royce Phantom , Maybach 57 and Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG for a spin and you'll find that there's really not a bad one in the bunch. This poses a challenge for luxury automakers, as it's difficult to stand out in such impressive company. Nonetheless, with the assistance of parent company Volkswagen, the 2008 Bentley Continental Flying Spur pulls it off, offering up a distinctive combination of S65-like performance along with enough classic British luxury to rival the more sedate Phantom and Maybach. Essentially a four-door version of Bentley 's Continental GT coupe, the Flying Spur has sporting bloodlines that are readily apparent in its breathtaking power and athletic handling and braking. The twin-turbo W12 engine whisks the Flying Spur to a stratospheric top speed of 195 mph, making it the fastest four-door sedan currently in production...

When car designs begin to stagnate, designers go back in time for inspiration, in the case of Arturo Alonso from Bentley Boys USA, he has gone back to the sixties, which has led him to this: The Bentley Boys S3 . Given enough interest, only three cars are expected for production, each taking an enormous eight months to build. The target market is Dubai, New York and Moscow, where image is everything. As far as we can tell the cars will actually be built on original 1960s Bentley S3 bodies, which might explain the 8 month production schedule. Apart from that, there is not much actual Bentley in this car. The same four-headlamp layout and vertical grille remain, while the original V8 engine has been replaced by a BMW-sourced 4.4-litre engine with around 220kW.The power is put to the ground via 20-inch forged wheels (even if you can only see 10 of that 20 inch) driven through a five-speed ZF automatic transmission.Little else is known about the specifications, except that it will have air...

Bentley is one of the favorite brands among Vietnamese connoisseurs. The limited edition Bentley Continental GT Diamond Series was launched in 2006, to celebrate 60 years of Bentley at Crewe. Only 400 units were produced. Now, the owner of a HCM City-based company, specializing in producing construction materials, has decided to shell out eight billion VND to purchase the Bentley Continental GT, a model commemorating the 60th anniversary of Bentley’s factory. The beige Bentley Continental GT reached Vietnam on December 26 and was ordered by a Vietnamese car importer through a US dealer more than a few months ago. The GT Diamond series flaunt especially luxurious interiors with a maximum speed of 318 km/h. A car enthusiast estimated that the imported Bentley Continental GT is worth $180,000 . But, as it goes through official channels, it will be worth $475,200 (60% import tax, 50% luxury tax, and 10% VAT). A brand new Bentley Continental Flying Spur 2008 is valued at $448,773 , after tax...
