A rich arab customer paid 30,000 euros to get the oil changed on his Lamborghini Murcielago - not the car’s fault but that of its owner as the vehicle was sent all the way from the Emirates to the London dealership. 25,000 euros was needed for the air delivery, and 5000 euros for repairs. Like its bigger brother, this sports car with the bull in its logo excels through its highlighted racing genes and more aggressive appearance after being modified at edo competition. The most remarkable feature is the sensational acceleration. Edo Competition achieves these figures thanks to the installation of a massive air box, high flow catalytic converters which are a completely new design and a recalibration of the engine electronics. When the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Grand Tourer was all set to appear in special Police livery at Salon Privé's Private and Luxury Super Car Show, little did we know that cops in Italy would find lucky donations in the form of a Lamborghini Gallardo . The Italian State Police (Polizia di Stato) has received the donation from Automobili Lamborghini SpA. The V10, that boasts of 500 bhp, 190 mph, features colors of the state police and includes a siren and flashing lights on the roof. The traffic police gets the honor of using the Gallardo , which will be used during emergency situations on the Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway in southern Italy. It's been fitted with all the gadgets necessary to transmit critical info during road traffic accidents, fires and other disaster situations. Is it the ultimate combination? Or a complete abomination? The flashy Lamborghini Gallardo trailering a custom (and most likely unauthorized) Lamborghini chopper were recently spotted in Miami Beach. From the pictures, we can see that the Lamborghini chopper is wearing the Lamborghini badge, and the black leather seat is embossed with the Lambo seal. We alerted you last week to the existence of the Lamborghini Murcielago SV, a rear-wheel-drive version of the normally all-wheel-drive LP640 . Seen here undergoing some on-track testing, the SV will reportedly serve up some 680 horsepower from its Lambo V12 behind the seats. It will also be lighter than a normal Murcielago by 220 pounds. Clearly visible on the car is a new fixed rear wing that's either meant to assist in take offs or stabilize the car at high-speeds. Expect carbon fiber to be a common build material, as well. Those are all some potent variables for a formula that guarantees a fun time. The Murcielago SV will be the latest in a string of new models from Lamborghini lately including the LP640, Reventon, Gallardo LP560-4, Gallardo Superleggera, among others. The wonders of iTunes will never cease. Now, even if you can’t actually own a Lamborghini of any stripe, you can see and hear them through Apple’s world-dominating music service. Lamborghini ’s made the play on iTunes with a new podcast called “ The World of Lamborghini .” If you think that’s a snug, blazingly fast world tucked inside your iPhone or iPod, you’re right — the Italian supercar maker is churning out videos that it says will “ignite the world’s enthusiasm for the most amazing vehicles on the planet.” Not to sound too cocky, but they’re also planning on expanding the initial launch of five podcasts with regular additions to their feed. Like the Reventon Lamborghini Ferruccio was conceived as an ultra-exclusive uber-exotic based on the Murcielago LP640 . But while the Reventon had its production run upped to 100, the Ferruccio was planned for only 10 road-going examples: five coupes and five roadsters. Also like the Reventon, the Ferruccio was supposed to sell for Є1 million ( $1.5 million) , but it very well might have been the manifestation of the Reventon that stopped the Ferruccio project in its tracks, siphoning off potential customers to the factory's own show-stopper. The use of carbon fiber inside and out on the Ferruccio promised to undercut the Murcielago's 0-60 time to three seconds flat en route to a claimed top speed of 230 mph, with 330mm ceramic discs and six-pot calipers to keep the speed in check. Couple that with razor-sharp styling to rival the Reventon, and you've got an interesting package, if only it didn't cost so much. Magau, however, is reportedly working to reduce the costs. If...
