• First Dodge Challengers to start just under $38,000

  Dodge announced this morning the new 2008 Challenger SRT8 muscle car will have a $37,995 sticker price, including destination charges. The automaker begins taking orders Dec. 3 for the limited-edition model that will be in showrooms next spring. The company plans to introduce a broader Challenger lineup and pricing at a later time. The limited-edition 2008 Challenger SRT8 model, which will have a 6.1-liter Hemi V-8 engine, will be available in black, silver and orange.
