Filed under: Trucks/Pickups , Auction Action , Suzuki , Ferrari Click above for a gallery of the Suzuki Sambar-turned-Ferrari microtruck You're too late to buy it, but it's never too late to find out about these things. The Suzuki Sambar was the first kei truck in Japan. It could also be the first kei truck to be completely restored, customized, and fitted entirely with Ferrari badging in America. However, it's about as far from Ferrari spec as you could imagine: a 660 cc, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke engine sits way back in the rear, with a pickup truck bed where you'd normally find the powerplant in an F430. It does have a ball shifter and Momo pedals, though. Even though the bidding's over, the truck didn't meet reserve (which is somewhere north of $12,800) so you can start saving for its eventual relisting. And did we mention all those Ferrari badges? Check 'em out in the gallery below. Gallery: Suzuki Sambar II Ferrari micro truck [Source: eBay ] eBay Find of the...

Filed under: Aftermarket , SEMA , Economy , Auction Action , SMART , Celebrities , Special/Limited Editions BatSmart from SEMA - Click above for high-res image gallery One of the most unusual vehicles to grace last year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas is now up for auction on eBay Motors. Called the BatSmart , this little vehicle was unlike most of the high-octane pieces of rolling artwork at the event in that it used just three pistons and 70 horsepower to move along its twin passengers. What it loses in power, though, it makes up in style, right? Designed by George Barris himself, creator of the original Batmobile from the mid '60s, the Batsmart features a faux turbine and rocket launchers to go along with its full custom body kit, which includes the requisite rear batfins and rodent-like pointy nose. Click here to see the auction page and be sure to check out our gallery below. Thanks for the tip, Mick! Gallery: eBay Find of the Day: Batsmart Gallery: SEMA 2008: Barris BatSMART [Source...

Filed under: Coupes , Auction Action , Supercars Click above for a high-res gallery of the SSC Ultimate Aero Twin-Turbo You've always had the opportunity to buy the world's fastest car, but now you can buy THE world's fastest car. The actual SSC Ultimate Aero TT that set the Guinness-certified top speed record for a production car is up for auction on eBay with your name on it. The 2007 model comes with Palladium paint and black Alcantara interior, nav system, 10-speaker audio/DVD system, back-up camera, and power everything. Oh, did we mention the 1183 horsepower twin-turbo V8 mounted behind the seats? Sure, the 2009 model has 100+ more horsepower and a theoretical top speed of 270 mph, but that's yet to be verified, making this very 2007 model still the world's fastest production car. At just over $150,000 the reserve has not yet been met, but the minimum bid is surely quite a bit less than the base price of a Bugatti Veyron or Koenigsegg CCX. Gallery: SSC Ultimate...

Filed under: Auction Action , Supercars , Alfa Romeo There are few things as tragic as a missed opportunity. So if you've been sitting at home crying over your chance gone by to grab one of the 84 examples of the simply stunning Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione to reach American shores , cheer up, because the miracle of eBay has come to save the day yet again. Not one, but three U.S.-spec 8Cs have popped up for sale on the auction site's automobile section. Of course, this sort of design perfection doesn't come cheap. Not by any stretch of the imagination. One example in St. Louis is rolling off the block today with a starting bid of $243,900. A second one in Minneapolis is up for grabs with a starting bid of $305,800 and a Buy-It-Now price of $329,995. And a third example is available out of Houston with a Buy-It-Now price or Best Offer at $295k. They're all in red (naturally) and are far from priced to sell, but can you really put a price on beauty? Well, apparently you can...
