Filed under: Videos Click above to watch first episode of Knight Rider after the jump As promised , NBC has released the first episode of the revived Knight Rider series online at its website and Hulu.com. Fortunately, the video is embeddable so you can watch it right after the jump on Autoblog. We're literally watching it and writing this at the same time, and - WHOA! KITT just transformed into his new Attack Mode . Some sort of nuclear fission occurred in his combustion chambers and he just leaped from his parking spot over some baddies. Anyway, we won't ruin anything else for you. Hit the jump to watch it yourself or save your virgin eyes for our own live blog of the series premiere next Wednesday when Alex will give us his minute-by-minute judgment of KITT's return to the small screen. Filed under: Videos click above to view the newest Knight Rider commercial The latest television commercial for the upcoming Knight Rider movie that airs this Sunday on NBC plays like an ad for Cars.com. KITT is parallel parked on a city street while a trigger happy nuevo Michael Knight gets busy with the key fob, experimenting with the GT500KR's nano tech-based shape-shifting abilities. We learn that KITT's shape shifting range is pretty limited. He can turn into any color late model Ford Mustang, and that's it. So when the bad guys are searching for an overly winged Attack KITT, the most sophisticated car on the planet will hide by magically transforming into a 2007 Mustang V6 with the Pony Package. This is where we sigh out loud and bemoan how bad this movie and the resulting series is going to be. But we'll watch it anyways this Sunday on NBC. Who knows, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is actually pretty good, and we were sure that show was gonna to suck. Check...

Filed under: Coupes , Sports/GTs , Videos , Ford , Shelby , Celebrities One week from today, we'll be watching Knight Rider , the 2-hour telemovie that resurrects KITT as a new car ( Mustang ) with a new voice ( Val Kilmer ), a new driver (Mike Traceur, son of Michael Knight), and, if ratings are good enough, a probable weekly gig in primetime next Fall. But lets not get ahead of ourselves. Before that can happen, the pilot needs to be a success, and we're as interested as everyone else in seeing what the network and executive producer Doug Liman have cooked up. Liman's body of work as a director and producer is so money that despite our fears, the Knight Rider reboot could actually work. Then again, based on some of what we've seen in the commercials and promos so far, it could just as easily wind up being a giant black hole of suck. On the upside, we expect to be entertained either way. The latest TV spot introduces us to KITT's new, raspier voice and magic disappearing...

Filed under: Coupes , Sports/GTs , Marketing/Advertising , Videos , Ford , Celebrities Something tells me the commercials for the new Knight Rider are going to be better than the show they're pimping, but we can hold out hope, however slim it may be. This week's new TV spot features lead character Mercury Mike Tracer as he drops off KITT in front of a valet parking stand, rendering an eager parking attendant speechless. No GT500KR joyride for you, dude. Watch it after the jump. [Source: Knight Rider Online] Continue reading VIDEO: KITT obviates valet parking Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments

Filed under: Etc. , Videos click above image to view 2-minute Knight Rider preview video We've claimed from the beginning that the new Knight Rider TV series is going to suck, and while we still believe that this is a not brand that'll hold up well to being updated, a new commercial on NBC at least gives us hope. Being nearly two minutes long, this new spot is more like a mini behind-the-scenes documentary in which the writer/producer of the show explains a few things and we're introduced to the new Michael Knight played by some ex-soap star named Justin Bruening. Bruening explains to the camera that his new series is not a remake, it's "a sequel of the original series." Well, sequels are always better than the original right? Follow the jump to view the video in full that contains a number of actual scenes from the upcoming 2-hour movie premiere. You can also check out the previously released 15-second and 30-second spots. Thanks for the tip, Phil! [Source: YouTube...

These are just some of the features you'll find on the new, heavily-Fordified Knight Industries Three Thousand when Knight Rider , the TV movie, airs next month. No word yet as to whether all of KITT's nifty accessories will be supplemented by other nice-to-haves like a good plot, quality acting, and seamless visual effects. We'll find out soon enough. Filed under: Etc. , Videos click above image to view teaser trailer var digg_url = 'http://digg.com/television/NBC_Airs_New_Knight_Rider_teaser_hear_Will_Arrnet'; Had you been watching Sunday Night Football yesterday, you would've seen the Redskins pound on the Vikings. Exciting stuff. If you blinked, got up to microwave some nacho cheese sauce or changed stations to watch the Amazing Race 12, then you may have missed the first official Knight Rider trailer to hit the airwaves. The short spot will probably be the first of many that primes our nostalgic hearts for the return of Knight Rider as a network series, kicked off by a two-hour movie on February 17th . The trailer shows KITT covered on a stage, motionless until his light bar begins glowing red and doing sweeps. Note that because the Shelby GT500KR actually has a pair of nostrils, there are really two light bars this time. Then, we hear the slightly synthesized voice of Will Arnett say, "Hello Mike." Getting...
