Filed under: Aftermarket , SEMA , Tuners , Videos , Supercars , Mercedes-Benz Click above to view the video Hamann is continuing to expand its lineup to include the top tier of luxurious performance, and it looks like the tuner has finally turned its attention to the Mercedes SLR McLaren. A teaser video has been released, showing the conservatively named "Volcano" SLR sporting three-piece deep-dish wheels, two-ton paint, massive rear wheel arches, roof scoop, rear diffuser and wing. Details are limited right now, but we suspect more information will leak its way out before the SEMA show next month. In the meantime, hit the jump to view the video. Hat tip to strekov. Filed under: Aftermarket , Tuners , Coupes , Aston Martin Click above for a gallery of the Hamann Aston Martin V8 Vantage We were totally buying Hamann's line about "form follows function," right up until the point we saw the roof scoop on the tuner's Aston Martin V8 Vantage package. That aside, the kit from Hamann is one of the most comprehensive we've seen, implementing an array of aerodynamic, handing and engine mods to take the baby Aston to the next level. On the aero side, Hamann festooned the Vantage with a new lower front fascia with two-piece spoilers, added a pair of sideskirts, a three-piece rear diffuser and a small, if not entirely stealthy, rear spoiler. You can get all these bits, or a different lip spoiler, in either carbon fiber or fiberglass, along with a roof scoop allowing you to channel your LeMans ambitions in poseurific style. The engine benefits from a retuned ECU that can boost power of the outgoing Aston's 4.3-liter V8 to 358 hp (23 hp...

Filed under: Aftermarket , Tuners , Chevrolet , Rendered Speculation Click above for a high resolution image With sales of the 2010 Chevy Camaro starting in the first quarter of 2009, it's inevitable that a variety of tuner versions will be popping up left and right. Deviant Art member Morfiuss decided that was too long to wait and beat everyone to the punch with his photoshopped rendition of a Hamann Camaro. We think he did a stellar job, penning in a new front fascia, side skirts, flared fenders, 20-inch rims, and gullwing doors that depict what Hamann would probably do if they got their hands on a Camaro. It's not likely to happen, but it does beg the question -- how would you tune the Camaro? Would you build a Euro-style version similar to the Hamann, or how about an all-out drag racer set for ten second time slips? Our pick? A street/track version styled after the Mark Donohue's Penske Camaro that was so dominant in the Trans-Am series in the late 1960's. [Source: DeviantArt...

Filed under: Aftermarket , Tuners , Sports/GTs , Supercars , Porsche Click above for our high-res gallery of the Hamann Stallion You wouldn't be mistaken for thinking that the Porsche 911 Turbo was already one of the fastest, best-performing sportscars on the road today. But that's where uber-tuners like Hamann - who've tuned everything from the MINI Cooper to the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti - come in to confound expectations and shatter assumptions. Not satisfied with "only" 480 horsepower, the Hamann Stallion packs a whopping 630 of its namesakes. To achieve that 150hp boost in output, Hamann swapped out the variable nozzle turbochargers and replaced them with... bigger variable nozzle turbochargers. They've also fitted a new stainless steel exhaust, a new air filter and, of course, tinkered with the ECU. But they didn't stop at the engine. Hamann also chopped the roof down by 8 cm (about two and a half inches), bolted on a new aero kit and fitted huge 20-inch...

Filed under: Aftermarket , Tuners , SUVs , Porsche Click to view the images in our high-resolution gallery Die-hard enthusiasts and moneyed customers continue to debate whether the Porsche Cayenne - now in its second iteration - is deserving of the Porsche badge, but while its driving dynamics have been lauded, most can agree that the aesthetics are less than superlative. Many aftermarket firms have sought to improve the Cayenne's looks - some with more success than others . German tuning firm Hamann Motorsports, which should be no stranger to regular visitors of this page having done up everything from the Ferrari 599 to the MINI , is the latest. Called the Cyclone, the Hamann kit gives the Cayenne the full wide-body treatment. There's a front bumper with a pair of integrated LED lamps, flaired wheel arches, a roof spoiler and a diffuser around back. You'll also notice new taillight covers around back. The brakes have been upgraded to 380mm slotted and ventilated discs grabbed...
