Filed under: SUVs , Auction Action , Volkswagen , Motorcycles , Special/Limited Editions Click to view the Harley edition Touareg in our gallery Volkswagen and Harley-Davidson are two motor companies with highly recognized images, but those images don't much overlap. That is, until now: someone has cooked up his own Harley edition Touareg. But while the special badging might look at home on a Ford F-150 , it doesn't quite fit on a VW. Aside from the emblems affixed to the wheels, grille, tailgate, sill plates and steering wheel, there's really nothing that makes this any different from any other 2004 model Touareg. It's got 42k miles on the odometer and a rich brown saddle leather interior, and with four days remaining 'till the digital hammer drops, bidding is up to $13,600. An actual Harley, and any measure of good taste, are not included. Gallery: Volkswagen Touareg Harley-Davidson edition [Source: eBay Motors via Motive ] Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments

Filed under: Sports/GTs , SUVs , Auction Action , Etc. , Jeep , Ferrari Click above for gallery of the Jerrari In 1963, Henry Ford II wanted to win Le Mans badly and was all set to buy Ferrari to boost Ford's racing program. Enzo Ferrari pulled out of the deal at the last moment, angering Ford II so badly that he went on to fund development of the legendary GT40 that went on to take many motorsports victories. A few years later, Mr. Ferrari pissed off yet another powerfully rich American businessman with the outcome being the automotive abomination you see before you. Bill Harrah of Harrah's Casino fame asked Ferrari to construct for him an Italian 4X4 wearing the prancing horse badge. While no one thought to archive the response from Ferrari, we imagine it involved the words 'hell' and 'no'. In Italian, of course. Undeterred and with more money than taste, Harrah created the Jerrari. Its ass-end is a 1970 Jeep Wagoneer , the nose is from a 1969 Ferrari 365GT . On...

Filed under: SUVs , Auction Action , Nissan , Celebrities Click either image for gallery of Dwight's Nissan Xterra Fact: A new episode of The Office aired last night in which Andy sells his Nissan Xterra to Dwight, who then puts it up for sale on eBay Motors. Fact: the guy who owns the Xterra in real life works for the show and has put it up for sale on eBay Motors along with a script signed by the cast and props used during filming. Question: how much is owning Dwight Schrute's Xterra worth to you? The current bid is $15,300 ( Kelley Blue Book says one in excellent condition is worth only $9,715) and no, your money will not go to an obscure charity. It will help this guy trade his SUV for a hybrid. That's so Hollywood. Thanks for the tip, Bojac! Gallery: Dwight Schrute's Nissan Xterra [Source: eBay Motors] Permalink | Email this | Comments

Filed under: SUVs , Auction Action , Cadillac Woke up this morning and I bought myself Tony Soprano's Escalade. Those may not be the exact words to the theme song from the hit HBO drama, but that's all you'll be singing if you take the winning bid at Barrett-Jackson's upcoming auction in Florida. Last summer we brought you news of Tony Soprano's Chevy Suburban being sold on eBay . This year the white 2003 Cadillac sport-ute which the character drove on The Sopranos is one of seven cars from the television series being sold at auction with no reserve at the Collector Car Event in West Palm Beach, Florida, from March 26-30. Joining Tony's Cadillac will be Vito Spatafore's black DeVille and the champagne CTS which Paulie Walnuts drove across Chris Moltisanti's front yard, as well as the '97 Mercury Villager which Tony and Paulie drove in Florida and several of the cars from the shootout at Tony's club. The cars will all be sold without reserve to benefit...

Filed under: SUVs , Auction Action , HUMMER , Celebrities click image above to see more pics of Tupac's H1 Like the rapper himself, his accouterments also refuse to die. Tupac's H1 is for sale on eBay, after having been raffled off in a contest on BET, then sold to someone else, then sold or given back to his family, then transferred to his entertainment company, Havenotz Entertainment. And now, their forced liquidation sale is your potential gain. The 1996 H1 hardtop is remarkably lightly altered, with nothing more than a lightbar, and a couple of Hummer logos and "Eliminator" badges on the rear fenders. The tan interior doesn't look to have a single DVD player or 10-inch LCD in sight. Apparently, bling does know some bounds, and if you can call an H1 'tasteful,' then this is it. The current bid: $200,200. If you just gotta have it, the Buy It Now Price is $500,000 -- which should buy you a nice slice of heaven in Thugs Mansion. Check out the gallery of pics...

Filed under: Aftermarket , SUVs , Auction Action , Pontiac It's official. The Pontiac Aztek can get uglier. Way uglier. For some reason, someone thought the Aztek would be a suitable vehicle to build into a show car (a loose term in this case), and they proceeded to give it Lamborghini doors, yellow interior trim with cloth seats, a train horn (huh?), light bar (for what?), and a paint job that includes several monkeys (are you as confused as we are?). The result is less of a show car and more of a distasteful and offensive security vehicle that patrols the monkey house at the zoo. The description states that it is a "real must have for your business or collection" and that it's "a real showstopper and a great advertisement." Yeah. Right. On a positive note, it's never been damaged (at least in an accident), and it has new tires. As of now there are no bids, so feel free to start with one at $12,000, or if you just can't wait there is a "buy it now"...

Filed under: SUVs , Auction Action , Etc. , Jeep Here's a familiar morning routine now that the weather's turning colder: start car, set heat on high, retreat inside to finish coffee. There's plenty of debate for and against the practice of warming up by idling, but the unfortunate story of this ZJ could bolster the argument for just getting in and going. eBayer buickonly had his 1996 Grand Cherokee swiped from his driveway one morning as it sat innocently trying to generate some warmth. What had been a nice clean vehicle ended up having its nose bashed in and was abandoned after becoming wedged between two trees. The coniferous atomic wedgie sheared off an exterior door handle, so there's only three working doors, and a Lincoln Town Car donated its proboscis to some crude rhinoplasty, but at least it's got lights out front again. Naturally, his wife refuses to ride in it, especially with it's rattle-can chic paint job, so buickonly's trying to unload it. If...

Filed under: SUVs , Auction Action , Jeep Click image for photo gallery In the great pissing contest that we call life, individuals are often forced to compromise. High-performance usually comes at the expense of off-road competence and vice versa. Every so often, however, someone will combine a little ingenuity with a dash of insanity in the hopes of having the proverbial cake and eating it, too. Often, the fruits of these labors can be found (and purchased) on eBay. Today's example is an '06 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited prepared by Burnsville OffRoad (who we've covered in the past for their HEMI Jeep conversions) that's powered by an 8.3L 505-hp Viper SRT10 engine and equipped with a laundry list of serious off-road equipment. Whether dusting off opponents at the stoplight drags or covered in dust and dirt from forays into the wild, this thing's got all the bases covered, it seems. $75K and a click on "Buy it Now" puts you in the driver's seat, which sounds like a devilishly fun place to be...
