Filed under: Videos , Ferrari , Toys Sega's OutRun Online Arcade - Click above to watch video after the jump With many worried that government regulations will soon strangle the concept of having fun in an actual car, it's convenient that game makers are developing more ways to have fun with virtual cars. SEGA is updating that old arcade classic OutRun with the latest in automaker metal, and the new game will arrive as OutRun Online Arcade on XBox Live Arcade and the Euro-version PlayStation Network. Up to six players can play three different modes on 15 U.S. tracks while driving any of ten Ferraris, which is a much better selection than the original's only option: a Ferrari Testarossa convertible. Imagine Formula D in a Dino or Enzo and you're pretty close. But even Formula D doesn't offer you this: "If you impress your girlfriend enough in Heart Attack Mode, you will receive special requests." Okay... For U.S. customers, the game will be out June 30th on...

Filed under: Trucks/Pickups , Auction Action , Suzuki , Ferrari Click above for a gallery of the Suzuki Sambar-turned-Ferrari microtruck You're too late to buy it, but it's never too late to find out about these things. The Suzuki Sambar was the first kei truck in Japan. It could also be the first kei truck to be completely restored, customized, and fitted entirely with Ferrari badging in America. However, it's about as far from Ferrari spec as you could imagine: a 660 cc, 2-cylinder, 2-stroke engine sits way back in the rear, with a pickup truck bed where you'd normally find the powerplant in an F430. It does have a ball shifter and Momo pedals, though. Even though the bidding's over, the truck didn't meet reserve (which is somewhere north of $12,800) so you can start saving for its eventual relisting. And did we mention all those Ferrari badges? Check 'em out in the gallery below. Gallery: Suzuki Sambar II Ferrari micro truck [Source: eBay ] eBay Find of the...

Filed under: Motorsports , Hirings/Firings/Layoffs , Ferrari During Ferrari's annual stockholders' meeting, company chairman Luca di Montezemolo announced that Jean Todt has resigned from all of his duties at the automaker. The former CEO and Formula One head has been the face of Ferrari for the last 15 years, joining the automaker in 1993 after a successful stint at Peugeot where he was instrumental in the French company's motorsports successes. In the following years, Todt thoroughly reorganized the Ferrari F1 team, eventually bringing racing legend Michael Schumacher, along with Ross Brawn and Rory Byrne, into the fold, and went on to preside over seven constructors' wins and five drivers' championships. Todt hasn't announced his next step, but we imagine a cocktail on the Riviera is in his future. Ferrari's press release is posted after the jump. Filed under: Sports/GTs , Etc. , Euro , Supercars , Ferrari Click the above image for a closer look at the assembled Ferraris Man, the Google Street View Driver got an eyeful the day he drove by this Maranello Moment. And he captured it all for posterity (and Google Maps) to boot. The gaggle of F430 Scuderias and 360 Challenge Stradales is impressive enough. Throw in the five F40s, two Enzos and a lone F50, and you have yourself a proper stampede of prancing horses. The Street View photos do two things. First, they reinforce our belief that the F40 is infinitely cooler than both its hyper-exotic successors. Second, they have us thinking that on this particular day, Rome's Piazza Santiago del Cile was probably the best-sounding place on planet Earth. Thanks for the tip, Bennayd! Filed under: Motorsports , Supercars , Ferrari Click above for a gallery of the Kessel Racing F430 Scuderia GT3 Try and follow us if you can. Ferrari built the F430, which in turn led to the development of the F430 Challenge. That eventually turned into the F430 Scuderia, and now Kessel Racing has built the F430 Scuderia GT3. It's a road car turned race car turned road car turned race car. Got that? If anything, it's a great example of the extent to which motorsports is intertwined with Ferrari's DNA. Pending approval from the FIA, the Swiss race team plans to field the car in the GT3 class and take on Lamborghini, Corvette, Aston Martin, Porsche, Ford, and more. Two other teams, JMB Racing and CRS Racing, have also expressed interest in competing with the car as well. If everything goes as planned, the Scuderia GT3 will make its debut during the first race of the season on May 3 at Silverstone.
