Filed under: Aftermarket , Geneva Motor Show , Supercars , Mercedes Benz , Ferrari Click above for high-res gallery OK, we've seen some of their previous work so we probably shouldn't have expected much more this time around, but when we heard that Mansory had gotten its hands on an SLR and a Ferrari 599 GTB, we certainly hoped that it would figure out a way to enhance their gotta-have-it quotients. Alas, our prayers went unanswered. Done up in a matte gold and black combo, the SLR looks a bit toy-like, but it should manage to sell in the single digits at least. Which digit you choose to count the sales is up to you. The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano had actually been criticized in some camps for being a bit too evocative of the Chevrolet Corvette when it was first shown. The Mansory edition done up in white and carbon fiber looks even more Vette-like to our eyes. Thoughts of a ZR1 or the recent 427 special edition Z06 leapt to mind. There was also a Phantom in the booth, but quite honestly...

Filed under: Aftermarket , Geneva Motor Show , Mercedes Benz Click if you dare to check out our high-res gallery. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and in this case, we've been rendered so speechless that we need the photos to do all of our talking. Why, oh why, would somebody intentionally inflict this kind of punishment on a pair of perfectly good Mercedes Benzes? Fab Design is showing these two shockers and the best guess as to an answer to our question is that they are desperate for attention. I guess that makes us enablers now. Actually, they might have been made for Kobe Bryant, now that we think of it. Just check out that purple and gold. Gallery: Fab Design tuner Mercedes Benzes Permalink | Email this | Comments

Filed under: Aftermarket , Coupes , Sports/GTs , Geneva Motor Show , BMW Click the image above for more hi-res shots of the carbon-heavy BMW 1-Series performance parts P. T. Barnum already answered how many people you could fit in an itty bitty car. BMW is now trying to figure out how much carbon you can fit into the same. The BMW 1-Series performance parts will keep carbon weavers in business for some time (we figure they'll be quite popular). The only sizable component not made out of carbon was the silencer, and no one will see that after it's installed. If nothing else, it could be the best and most agreeable way to raise your carbon footprint. It's a shame about that hood, though... Check out the gallery of hi-res photos below. Filed under: Aftermarket , Coupes , Sports/GTs , Geneva Motor Show , Bentley Click above for more high-res shots of the Zagato Bentley Continental GTZ Since we're still in the midst of awards season, the trophy for least complicated reveal goes to Zagato, which made nary a fuss over its angularized and curvified Bentley Continental GTZ . Just a note, a bigger note and press photos, and now we present the live shots. It's a striking car, no doubt -- from some angles at the front we think it looks like it had a long night out with Salvador Dali and Georges Braque. Check out the hi-res photos for yourself, below. Filed under: Aftermarket , Tuners , Sedans/Saloons , Geneva Motor Show , Brabus Click the image above for more hi-res shots of the Brabus Black Arrow in matte and siblings We had Brabus for breakfast here in Geneva, and it is hereby declared the Breakfast of (Obscenely Wealthy) Champions. The Bullitt Black Sheep Arrow in matte -- what else -- black, sat brooding near its pure white and red siblings, the Brabus SLR Roadster and matching Ultimate 112 . And is there really any better way to start the day than with a combined € 1,083,000 bowl of 1,482-HP goodness? We didn't think so. Beats a double espresso. Filed under: Aftermarket , Tuners , Sedans/Saloons , Sports/GTs , Geneva Motor Show , Euro , Supercars , Mercedes Benz , Brabus Click above for high-res gallery of the BRABUS Bullit Black Arrow At its Frankfurt introduction last year, the BRABUS Bullit was positioned as the tuner's ultimate "sleeper." Painted a fairly standard-looking gray with subdued black wheels and carbon-fiber accents, the Bullit did differ from some of BRABUS' more wildly extroverted vehicles, which scream "SUPER TUNER! LOOK AT ME!" That's not to say that the Bullit doesn't have the creds, though -- a 720-horsepower twin-turbo V12 with torque electronically limited to 811 lb-ft will certainly get the job done. (Sans the electronic safety net, it produces 974 lb-ft, in case you were wondering. Tires become one with the ozone layer at the mere thought of this.) For Geneva this year, BRABUS is bringing the Bullitt Black Arrow . What's different about it? Not much, except that its...

Filed under: Aftermarket , Tuners , Convertibles , Geneva Motor Show , Mercedes Benz , UAW/Unions click above image to view more images of the Lorinser Nardo3 Mercedes SL Perennial Mercedes-Benz tuner Lorinser is coming to Geneva with some new toys. Highlighting its booth at the fast-approaching auto salon will be the Nardo3. Based on the outgoing Mercedes SL AMG roadster, the Nardo3 borrows its name from the high-speed test track in Italy and strives to live up to the name by boosting power from the twin-turbo V12 to 660 hp. It also features some slick aero mods, including a new rear bumper with integrated exhaust outlets and a new front end to match. Although Mercedes has already announced its new AMG SL-Class roadsters , Lorinser will only produce 50 copies of the Nardo3 and should have no trouble selling them. Lorinser will also be showcasing its modifications for diesel Mercedes-Benz cars with the C-Class T-Model that upgrades the C320 T CDI with revised electronics, boosting power...
