We've partnered up with our friends from Autoblog Chinese to bring you as many live shots of the show as we can procure. There was only one car to kick off the coverage and that's Nissan's new R35 GT-R. Blitz, HKS/Kansai, Fujitsubo, Power Enterprises, Amuse and MINE'S all had vehicles on display, most of which were sporting some free-flowing intakes, wheels and a few aero pieces, including front splitters and wings. We know that Amuse already has its R1 Titan exhaust strapped onto its shop GT-R, along with a massive carbon fiber rear wing and trick C.F. lip. MINE'S will begin selling its VX-ROM that can eliminates the top-speed limiter and tweak the ECU depending on fuel octane. According to...

Filed under: Aftermarket , Tuners , Japan , Supercars , Nissan Eric Hsu, one of the many men behind XS Engineering and also a veteran of A'PEXi and Cosworth, got a hold of the February 2008 issue of Japan's Option magazine in which the pub strapped the MINE'S-modified Nissan GT-R to a Dynapack and ripped off a couple of runs. The GT-R was equipped with the prototype catback exhaust we featured a couple of weeks back, and although the design is far from streetable in its current form, it still created just over 20 hp over the stock setup by reducing backpressure and allowing a 1.42 psi increase in boost. Although Hsu maintains that the Dynapack might skew the results by up to five-percent, the 507.9 ps (500.95 hp) rating at the flywheel is still impressive considering that nothing was done to the GT-R's ECU. Filed under: Aftermarket , Tuners , Japan , Supercars , Nissan The Nissan GT-R has only been on sale in Japan for a scant three weeks, but one of the preeminent tuners across the Pacific has already released its first batch of performance parts for Nissan's new supercar. MINE'S has seemingly had a GT-R since the day it went on the market (likely before) and has already developed a new exhaust, catalytic converter, plus front and rear rotors for the R35. The VX Pro Titan II exhaust pictured above looks like it was cobbled together quickly, likely for the Tokyo Auto Salon in a few weeks, but the welds and blue-anodized tips show a nice attention to detail. While it doesn't get rid of the dual exhaust setup that several tuners have voiced complaints over, it may provide a better flow rate over the stock unit. The 400mm slotted rotors (available with 16 or 24 slits) on the right are certainly pretty, but the prototype suspension behind them is even more interesting. According to...
