Filed under: Aftermarket , Tuners , Sports/GTs , Ford The 2010 Ford Mustang made its debut just a few weeks ago at the LA Auto Show and already various tuners around the country are preparing their variants based on the new model. Steve Saleen has beat everyone to the punch and is the first to announce his new lineup called the Signature Series 460 Mustangs. Each will feature a supercharged version of Ford's 4.6L V8 starting at 475 horsepower and going all the way up to over 650 raging ponies underneath the hood. Keep in mind that the mechanicals of the 2010 Mustang are carried over from the current model, so we should expect the aftermarket industry to carry over their performance parts for the 4.6L V8, as well. Aerodynamic enhancements for the SMS Mustang will be penned by noted designer Phil Frank, and the cars will also feature upgrades for the drivetrain, suspension, tires, wheels and more upscale interior. There are more special editions Mustangs than you can shake a wrench at, but of all the variants we've seen so far, the Saleen SA-25 Sterling Edition is one of our favorites. Not only does it take all the attributes of the stock model and accentuates them, the SA-25's supercharged V8 comes packing 620 hp and 600 lb.-ft. of torque. Only 2,500 were built and the sale of each went to helping fight breast cancer through donations to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure charity. As we all know, one special version of the Mustang is not enough, so Galpin Auto Sports of Pimp My Ride fame has gone and "Galpinized" a Mustang convertible that will be given away as the grand prize in the Warriors in Pink Mustang Sweepstakes . The Galpin Warriors in Pink Mustang is a bit more flashy than its factory sibling, sporting hot pink rally stripes over black paint, pink headlight splitters, a new grille and spoiler, a lowered suspension and 20-inch pink and black rims.
